HAM vs MID Dream11 Prediction:

  • James Vince had a poor start to the tournament but we are backing the skipper to be Hampshire’s highest run scorer in this game.
  • Nathan Ellis has a fine range of variations and he is our tip for Hampshire’s top wicket taker against Middlesex.

It was not only Hampshire who were on the receiving end of a heavy defeat in their first game as Middlesex lost by 73 runs against their London rivals Surrey on Thursday evening at Lord’s. Nathan Fernandes made his Middlesex debut in the defeat but should get another opportunity in this game.

Winning Chances:

Both sides will be desperate to put their opening game defeats behind them and get some points on the board in this game. HAM vs MID Analysis:

Hampshire

HAM Team Batting

Ben McDermott and James Vince made a combination of only four runs at the top of the order against Somerset which was a big shock as both have fantastic T20 batting records. Big things are expected from 20-year-old Tom Prest who has hit two half-centuries in this format.

HAM Team Bowling

There was a wicket each for only spinner Liam Dawson and Australian all-rounder Nathan Ellis in the defeat to Somerset in the opening match. Mason Crane only bowled three balls on Wednesday but has an excellent record at the Rose Bowl.

Middlesex

MID Team Batting

Max Holden top-scored for Middlesex against Surrey with 43 runs from 23 balls and he put on 34 runs for the third wicket with South African Pieter Malan who made 30 runs from 18 balls. Steve Eskinazi hit only one run at the top of the order but he has a strong T20 record.

MID Team Bowling

29-year-old pace bowler Tom Helm bowled the final over for Middlesex on Thursday and took three wickets whilst conceding only three runs. Fernandes was also impressive and dismissed opener Sunil Narine but the bowlers will need more from their batting team-mates in this clash.

HAM vs MID Team Forms:

HAM Team Form:

After ending the 2022 tournament in excellent form, the margin of defeat was a big surprise for Hampshire fans against Somerset.

MID Team Form:
