• Shubman Gill has been ordinary so far in IPL 2024 but how long can a player of the calibre of Gill be kept quit. Law of averages have to come in at some point thus we are optimistic that Gill can do well against CSK. He could be backed as GT top batter. Mohit Sharma has bowled well in matches played at Narendra Modi Stadium due to the spongy nature and his style of bowling. Back him as top bowler.

Shubman Gill has been very ordinary this season and is one of the main reasons why the team has struggled. He has scored 322 runs in IPL 2024 but lacked consistency. If GT have to harbour hopes of pulling off an upset against CSK, Gill has to play a big innings.

Sai Sudharsan 

Sai Sudharshan has scored a few runs but his strike rate is in question. He has scored 424 runs at a strike rate of 130. Sudharsan can play big shots and improving strike rate should not be a concern if he manages to get his intent right.

Rashid Khan 

Rashid Khan has had a disappointing tournament so far, with just eight wickets to his name. GT will get into trouble if Rashid Khan is not getting wickets thus the champion bowler needs to find his mojo back.

Noor Ahmed 

Noor Ahmed is probably the only player in GT who could hold his head high. He too has taken just eight wickets but has looked the most threatening of all bowlers.
