The Nets will now need a few of role players to step up and serve as the team’s aces.
Nuggets: They have the potential to be a top team.
Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon’s point ranges have widened by 6-8 points, a significant difference. Nikola Jokic continues to average 20 points per game on most nights, and Jeff Green has also performed admirably. Will Barton’s offensive productivity has dipped, but his defence can compensate.
Facundo Campazzo and youngster Bones Hyland, both Nuggets bench guards, have both made their bids, with Campazzo being a playmaker and Hyland coming into this game following a 24-point night. The Nuggets are digging in without their key players Michael Porter and Jamal Murray, and when they return, they’ll go all out.
