The total prize money allotted by International Cricket Council for the T20 World Cup Winner is $5.6 million (41.6 Crores). Every team contesting in the Super 12 Stage will be getting the money, irrespective of their performance in the tournament. The teams will get INR 42 Lakhs for featuring in the Super 12 stage, and the additional prize for each win in the Super 12 stage will be around 30 Lakhs. For example, Indian team with 3 wins will get the total prize money of around 1.4 Crores Rupees. The prize allotted to the winner of the T20 World Cup is around 12 Crores, and Runner Up will get the amount of 6 Crores.
