Mumbai Indians’ Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma will open the innings, with Surya Kumar Yadav going in at No. 3. MI lacks established options at No.4, with Tilak Varma the front-runner for the position, but MI could spring some surprises. In the middle order, Tim David and Keiron Pollard would give power, while Sanjay Yadav and one of M Ashwin or M Markande would likely supply spin. The pace attack will be led by Jasprit Bumrah, with two of D Sams, T Mills, and R Meredith completing it. They don’t have a good spin attack, and the use of hard lengths can stifle their middle-order batting.
