IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians (MI) best-starting lineup following the mini-auction

With players like captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ishan Kishan remaining in the lineup, Mumbai Indians entered the IPL 2023 Mini-Auction. The starting XI for the five-time winner will rely on its key players.

Mumbai Indians targeted all-rounders and spinners in this auction because they had nine positions to fill overall. Seven players were signed, and they paid 17.5 crores for Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. The Mumbai Indians’ starting lineup for IPL 2023 is listed below.

1. Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan, one of India’s best top-order hitters, has become well-known for his exceptional ball-striking skills. Ishan recently scored 210 off 131 balls against Bangladesh to become the fastest double hundred in international cricket.

Regarding his IPL achievements, the southpaw has scored 12 fifties and 1870 runs in 75 innings. In the 2020 edition, he had the finest season, scoring 516 runs at an average of 57.33, which enabled Mumbai Indians to win the championship.
