Rajasthan Royals’ bizarre strategy against GT where Samson did not use Trent Boult in the final overs left many scratching their heads. Shikhar Dhawan has been ordinary so far. Being the team’s senior most batter, PBKS would have expected more from him. Dhawan has played a few good shots but he has lost his wicket soon after. The skipper needs to play sensible cricket and curb a bit of his natural instinct. He needs to emulate Virat Kohli and try and bat through the innings.
Shashank Singh
Shashank Singh has been a great addition to the team. He scored 61 in 29 balls against GT to help the team win and again played a knock of 46 in 25 to almost get the team pull off another heist. The youngster has shown great hitting abilities and PBKS will be elated to have someone like him down the order who can come in in the latter end of the innings and get the team quick runs.
Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada has been brilliant for PBKS. Game after game, Rabada has shown why he is one of the best bowlers in this format of the game. The Proteas pacer has taken seven wickets in five games.
Harshal Patel
Harshal has been very expensive so far but he showed glimpses of a return to form in the previous game where he picked two wickets for 30 runs. Harshal bowls at death mostly so there are heavy chances of him picking multiple wickets when the batters are going after the bowling.
